Lilly is a global pharmaceutical company headquartered in Indianapolis. It was founded in 1876 by Eli Lilly at a time when medicines were not well regulated, inspiring his dedication to providing safe, high-quality products and manufacturing standards that is still upheld today. Lilly has a global presence and is most known for developing the first commercial insulin product. 

Lilly’s brand identity is a powerful asset in expressing their mission, vision, and unique perspective on the role of health and humanity in the industry. It carries with it the long-standing values and heritage of humanity and discovery. The refreshed design system builds from existing foundational brand elements such as the iconic signature logo and refines them to help them work as a cohesive design system. It is composed of graphic elements that tell the story of a brand centered around health, with colors, fonts, and images that embody a quality of humanity across different contexts.
